AbstrakThe use of day reporting centers (DRCs) to provide additional supervision and collocated services for criminal justice populations has expanded considerably since they first appeared in the United States 30 years ago. However, little is known about models of practice. This study uses a multi-state sample and two-step cluster analysis to identify six distinct DRC models. A number of trends related to evidence-based practice are also identified. The paper concludes with recommendations for community corrections administrators.
